You don't see to many BMW combo's like this in the UK,using the 1960s Earls fork type frame fitted with 1981 light flywheel R100RS engine and five speed gearbox.I managed to use a later type bevel box after mating two rear swinging arms together.It's performance belies it's looks ,it really does shift when the throttle is wide open.Stopping is taken care of with the use of a Grimeca four leading shoe front brake,this bike has so far covered 97000 miles with only routine servicing apart from a replacement clutch plate, contaminated when the rear crankshaft oil seal failed.Saturday 23 June 2007
